Facultad de Enfermería
The Faculty of Nursing of the University of Murcia, previously called the University School of Nursing, was created in 1991 as a result of a collaborative agreement between the University of Murcia and the National Institute of Health (on which depended the now extinct "Virgen de la Arrixaca" School of Nursing) and the University of Murcia with the Autonomous Community of Murcia (on which depended the School of the Autonomous Community, approved by local government on 7 May 1990 and ratified by the Social Council of the same. As a result of the fusion of these two schools Nursing Studies began in the 1991/1992 academic year in the School of Nursing of the University of Murcia in accordance with the respective agreements (Official State Bulletin, BOE, 12 October, 1991).
